Recent Pick-Up Dancers

Yuliya Romanskaya originally from Ukraine,  spent the majority of her youth in Southern California.  After graduating from Beverly Hills High School, she immersed herself in the wild world of CalArts, performing in works by Pam Gonzales, Colin Connor, Rosanna Gamson, Stephen Koplowitz, Stephanie Nugent, and Reggie Wilson.

Sandra Chiu is originally from Taiwan.  She has danced for Jonathan Fredrickson, Heidi Rustgaard, Isak Immanuel, Mira Kingsley, Wen-Chu Young, Alesia Young, and Colin Connor.  Sandra is the principle dancer of Laura Gorenstein Miller’s Helios Dance Theater.  She is currently in Isreal working with Kibbutz Dance Company.

Freya Sargent has been dancing intensively for the last nine years studying and performing in ballet, contemporary, flamenco, and jazz. She is a graduate of The School of Toronto Dance Theatre.

Pam Gonzales - Dance was also recently provided the opportunity to work with student dancers through commissions at College of the Canyons and a residency at UCLA.   

Designers

Brandon Stirling Baker (Lighting Design) -  is a designer and visual artist based in New York. Recent designs for dance include work by Jessica Lang, Alexei Ratmansky, Christopher Wheeldon, Justin Peck, Larry Keigwin, Pam Gonzales and Darius Barnes.  He is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts.
